Hye Ryun Jung came to the United States from South Korea in 2009 and, during the early days of adjusting to life in the USA, she discovered the mental and physical benefits of a yoga practice. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher's training in Colorado Springs in 2017. Soon after that, she and her husband began a long journey overseas. They first moved to Kuwait for nearly a year, and Hye Ryun taught yoga to people from many different cultural backgrounds. In 2018, they traveled to Nepal and India. To deepen her yoga practice, Hye Ryun studied Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in Dharamsala and Goa.
